                                           STARTERS

Soup (v) - Homemade tomato and basil soup,
served with warm bread roll and butter.

Paté - Smooth chicken liver paté served with red onion marmalade,
salad garnish, savoury biscuits and warm brown toast.

Prawn, crayfish and asparagus cocktail - North Atlantic prawns and
crayfish tails smothered in a Marie Rose sauce served on freshly
sliced iceberg lettuce and topped with asparagus tips.

Black pudding and chicken liver salad – Pan fried chicken livers and
chopped black pudding on a bed of fresh salad leaves with a light,
sweet mince dressing.

                                            SORBET

A refreshing fruit sorbet.
 
                                      MAIN COURSES

Turkey – Roast crown of turkey with sage & onion stuffing,
accompanied with bacon wrapped chipolata sausages, roast and
Duchess potatoes, cranberry sauce, pan roasted gravy and a trio of
steaming seasonal fresh vegetables.

Medallions of beef  - Sliced tender fillet medallions served with a
rich red wine sauce, Duchess potatoes and fresh vegetables

Sea bass – Pan fried fillet of sea bass, topped with butter and lemon
juice, served with herb coated crushed potatoes and fresh vegetables.

Scottish salmon – Seared fillet of salmon on a bed of buttered spinach,
fresh tomato and garlic sauce with potatoes and fresh vegetables.

Mushroom linguine (v) – Sliced mushrooms, blue Stilton, white wine and
cream combined with freshly cooked linguine and topped with fresh basil.

                                            DESSERTS

Individual Christmas pudding - Served with a warm brandy sauce.

Chocolate fudge cake - Served hot with cream or ice cream.

Winterberry crumble - Served with custard.

Fresh fruit salad - Served with cream. 

                                           TO FINISH

Tea or freshly ground filter coffee with warm mince pies.
